POSITION SUMMARY/SCOPE OF PRACTICE: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas of the hospital which includes performs a variety of environmental service duties to ensure a neat, orderly, sanitary and safe environment. This position distinguishes itself from others in that it is also responsible for the handling, storing, distribution and processing of linen as well as setting up and “tearing down” rooms/areas for hospital events.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES: 6 months experience in a similar setting; able to read, write, and speak English; experience with floors.
