FREE Diabetes 101 Education Classes

Led by Linda Basile, RN, CDE

An intensive course to learn the ABC's of living with diabetes! Continue to learn more by attending one or both of the monthly Diabetes Support Groups.

Held in Conference Room 3 on the "B" level of the hospital, follow the signs.

Schedule for 2010 January to October - There will be three classes monthly held on Wednesdays 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

February 10, 17, 24
March 10, 17, 24
April 14, 21, 28
May 12, 19, 26
June 9, 16, 23
July 14, 21, 28
August 11, 18, 25
September 15, 22, 29
October 13, 20, 27

Class 2 - Nutrition
Class 3 - Complications, Stress and Fitness

FREE Diabetes Support Group

Meets the first Thursday of each month 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Meets the second Saturday of each month 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
The Diabetes Support Group meets in Conference Room 3 on the "B" level.

FREE Glucose/Blood Pressure Testing

Second Wednesday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

At the hospital’s front courtyard (or just inside the front entrance, if the weather is inclement). Limited, free parking available at the hospital’s front semi-circle drive.
